HELP FIX ME -

Maine's low-income spay/neuter assistance program is currently accepting applications from low-income households with cats, kittens, pit bulls and pit bull mixes.* The portion you pay for a cat is $10 and for a dog is $20.

You will qualify for Help Fix ME if you receive: food stamps, TANF, Mainecare, SSI or SSD or have an income below 133% of the federal poverty level (you do not have to be receiving any government assistance). If you have any past problems with Help Fix ME that you have been unable to solve through Help Fix ME directly, please email Susan Hall at shall1@maine.rr.com.

*Please note that the goal of this program is to reduce shelter intakes and euthanasia. This is why the program is restricted to cats and pit bulls--these are the animals filling our Maine shelters.
