Paws is a no-kill and non-profit animal shelter and relies almost solely on donations to meet operating expenses.  We now accept donations through our web site by clicking on the "Donate" button above. Also consider us when estate planning.  You can make a difference in the lives of hundreds of animals in Washington County.

Baby It's Cold Outside - builds simple and affordable insulated shelters for local community cats who live in outdoor colonies overseen by dedicated caregivers
 
Spruce Me Up - includes small painting or landscaping projects that can easily be accomplished through a day ot 2 of teamwork
 
Bed & Blanket Brigade - creates bedding to keep the animals in our care comfortable and make our wash loads smaller
 
Facility Fix-Up - requires someone with basic carpentry skills to make minor facility repairs, install cabinets or build sturdy foundations for our cozy cage banks
 
It's Playtime!! - enlists enthusiastic groups to build cat trees and condos (according to ready made plans) that enrich the lives of the cats living in our free roaming rooms
